Down the hill to the bottom, over Bow Bridge, follow the road to the left past the famous Waterman's Arms, along Bow Creek, past the equally famous Maltster's Arms through picturesque Tuckenhay, over stream, follow road bearing left, you will then pass a cottage on your left with a sign called Edgecombe Barn. Go straight on, up the hill 1/4 of a mile and turn right signed Tideford and Dartmouth. Bear right at small grassy island, then go past a cottage on your right called Kerswell up the hill, and Lower Tideford is the first property on your left approached by its own long drive.
