From each of our offices we handle the sale of farms, smallholdings, blocks of bare land, woodland and houses with land. Rendells also conduct sales by auction of all types of property, and from our Exeter Office deals in and offers advice on all agricultural quotas.
We also undertake regular sales of live and deadstock on farms, regular sales of machinery and seasonal sales of grass and winter keep, weekly livestock markets at Newton Abbot and Exeter, together with seasonal sales of store cattle and sheep at Chagford.
Professional Valuation Services
Within the firm we can call upon a team of highly experienced Chartered Surveyors who are able to provide a variety of professional services to property owners and their advisors.
Antique Saleroom
Rendells acquired their Ashburton Saleroom in the mid-1970’s and each month two-day sales of between 1500-2000 lots of antiques and selected items are held.
A skilled team of valuers ensures that even obscure and rare items are identified, photographed, catalogued, advertised and then sold to the maximum benefit of the vendor with the minimum of fuss. With regular sales of Lenkiewicz paintings both by auction and private treaty Rendells are rightly regarded as experts on this highly collectable artist’s work.
Team Association
'Team is the largest network of independent estate agents in the UK with over 50 offices in Devon and more than 450 nationally, exclusively offering multi-listing of all available properties. In 1998 Rendells joined the Team network in order to provide vendors with a local, national, and international marketplace for their property, while still retaining 100% control as an independent estate agent.
