New for 2020 - Rendells now Operating Newton Abbot Market Solely

As some of you may have seen, Rendells are now operating Newton Abbot Market solely, with this effect happening from 1st January 2020. All sales will continue as normal with the livestock market continuing on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, smallholders, poultry and sundry sales commencing on Saturday 7th March and continuing fortnightly and seasonal horse sales throughout the year.
With 2020 beginning hopefully with a spell of much needed dry weather and most of you hopefully having received your Basic Farm Payment, buyers are again contacting us looking for store cattle to purchase during our spring sales.
Our next Store Cattle sale is Wednesday 8th January with approximately 40 cattle booked in including 6 cull cows, 2 store bulls (not fit for breeding), 18 month old Aberdeen Angus Steers, 22-24month old British Blue x steers and Friesian steers with more cattle wanted. Following this our February store cattle sale is on Wednesday 5th February and our March Store Cattle sale on Wednesday 4th March.
Mole Valley Farmers of Heathfield are continuing their support with regular vouchers throughout many of these sales.
The next sale of TB Restricted cattle is on Wednesday 15th January and our February TB Sale on Wednesday 19th February with our TB sales continuing on the third Wednesday of every month. Entries for these TB sales are required at least seven days prior to the sale date for licensing purposes.
On the first and third Wednesday of each month sales of prime hoggs and lambs, killing ewes and rams will continue and we invite further entries for all sales to advertise and notify buyers with numbers.
