Rendells Gone Fishing!

Rendells are pleased to announce the auction of an extensive, one owner collection of fishing collectables to be sold on Friday 18th February at 13.30 at their Stonepark saleroom in Ashburton.
Comprising some 283 Lots the collection was gathered over a forty year period and includes numerous centre pin, fixed spool and multiplier reels by the likes of Hardy Bros Ltd., Allcocks, Grice & Young, G. Farlow & Co., Ltd., Milwards, Mitchell and many others in addition to unnamed wood and brass centre pin examples.
Rods with everything from split cane, greenheart, graphite carbon and fibreglass examples are also well represented. Featuring fly, float, boat, and beachcasters again by some of the top names in the field. There are also fly cases by the likes of Wheatley ‘Silmalloy’ (many with contents), Hardy Bros Ltd. and others, along with vintage lures including Devon minnows, plugs, spoons and other fishing tackle and accessories. To be sold in single and multiple Lots.
The section will be bolstered with the addition of some carefully selected private vendor Lots resulting in a total of approximately 330 Lots to be offered.
A fully illustrated online catalogue will be available towards the end of the week prior to the sale on The Saleroom.com. With viewing days 10.00-19.00 Tuesday 15th February and 10.00-17.00 on Wednesday 16th February.
