Rendells Online Timed Auction Report

Rendells held their first online only auction of Tractors, Machinery, Implements and Sundries which closed on the 2nd June 2020. With the COVID 19 restrictions preventing many live auctions Rendells had scheduled over the spring and summer months the online auction provided vendors a chance to sell their items during this extremely difficult time.

An excellent entry of 156 lots saw over 300 registered bidders from 10 different countries including Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania. An excellent trade was seen with many lots selling above the vendors expectations. Leading up to the auction there was a high level of enquiries for all lots forward and it was great to see all the bids come forward as the sale began to close.

Bidding topped at £23,000 for a John Deere 2011 6830 Premium tractor with the Renault Celtis 456 4WD tractor finally selling for £12,200 to A purchaser from Merseyside. An entry of two John Deere 855 diesel gators met strong demand with both racing away to £6100 and £4500 respectively.

The Subaru 1800 4WD pickup met demand from all over the United Kingdom and finally sold at £3600 to Kent with the Marshall 702 tractor receiving high levels of bidding activity in the last ten minutes of the sale and sold for £2400. The opico 6m folding grass harrows sold to £2000 with the Marshall 8T tandem axle tipping trailer selling to £1600.

A large collection of farm implements and smaller lots meet huge demand with a Zetor ZTR 185 Drum Mower selling to £940, a McConnel Rhino 6’ Topper selling to £620, 3 New pig arcs to £490, 7’ drag harrows to £430, Barrus Lawnflite mowers to £400, Four in one digger bucket to £300, IAE Creep feeders to £280, Husqvarna 236 chainsaw to £190 and Sheep IAE hay racks to £110.

Rendells next online timed auction will be held on Wednesday 2nd to Wednesday 9th September.
